PromptDNA helps users right-click a selected image and generate structured AI image prompts. This policy explains what data is processed, why it is processed, and how users can contact us.
Data Processed
- The image selected by the user through the PromptDNA right-click action.
- A locally generated device identifier used for guest quota and abuse prevention.
- Account email, display name, provider, and authentication session data when the user signs in.
- Quota usage, check-in history, points, feature unlocks, and account administration records.
- Basic request metadata needed for security, rate limiting, diagnostics, and service operation.
How Data Is Used
- To analyze the selected image and return prompt-ready text to the user.
- To enforce guest, signed-in, and IP-based quota limits.
- To support login, check-in rewards, feature unlocks, and account administration.
- To detect misuse, debug failed requests, and operate the service reliably.
Third-Party Services
PromptDNA may use Vercel for hosting and serverless execution, Supabase for account and quota storage, and configured AI model providers for image analysis. Model provider API keys are stored on the backend and are not included in the Chrome extension frontend.
Data Sharing
PromptDNA does not sell user data and does not use user data for personalized advertising. Selected images and related prompt instructions are shared only with the configured AI provider as needed to perform the requested analysis.
User Controls
- Users may use guest mode when enabled.
- Users may sign out from the extension Options page.
- Users may uninstall the extension to remove local extension storage from Chrome.
- Users may request account deletion or data export through the support contact.
Security
PromptDNA sends requests over HTTPS. Provider API keys remain in server-side deployment environment variables. Authentication tokens are stored in Chrome extension local storage.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
PromptDNA's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
